Rolfing ® Structural Integration is an elegant integrative therapy that helps restore order and balance to the being. This allows for a more fluid and graceful horse by returning it to a balanced state. The horse develops a new sense of awareness through this process as well as a sense of ease in their movements through repatterning the nervous system and connective tissues. Equine Structural Integration removes the compensations or patterns that have formed in the horse’s body due to the stresses of life.

Benefits of Equine Rolfing® Structural Integration

  • Reduce risk of injury
  • Increase suppleness, energy, and impulsion
  • Improve grace and fluidity
  • Increased Precision
  • Aid in injury recovery
  • Evoke a better personality

What to expect after a session

  • The horse should have the rest of the day off
  • The next day should be a light ride and if the horse is a jumper they should have a day free from jumping
  • After a session the horse will benefit from a hand walk or turnout
  • They may be extra playful as they explore their new body so keep that in mind that if they run too much in turnout you may want to bring them in
  • This time allows them to learn what their body is capable off
